"The
VS810-A has been an essential piece of processing equipment
in our catheter shaft lamination process. The VS810-A
is a robust machine and has performed over 100,000 cycles
since installation with no downtime."

Shrink Cycler
(Model 810-A)
The 810A provides uniform heated air around 1-4 catheter
type shafts and traverses the heat at a regulated speed
up to 71” in length. Traverse speed and length
settings are entered via panel mounted operator key-pad
and a motion controller ensures precision and repeatability.
The BDI VS810-A is capable of multiple length and speed
transitions within a single cycle and features tubing
guides to ensure product centering within the heat zone,
and independent temperature control of each thermal
nozzle. The 810A is an ideal solution to problems associated
with longitudinal elongation and uneven recovery of
the shrink tubing when using ovens.
The 810-A gives you:
- Provides you with uniform, highly repeatable laminations.
- Multiple length and speed transitions within a single
cycle
- Lengths up to 70” (177 cm)
- 2 or 4 component processing
- High accuracy and repeatability of traverse speed
and length
- Pneumatic tubing grips with silicon soft-jaws
- Independent temperature control of each thermal
nozzle.
